Turkish Airlines operate 2 or 3 flights a day from/to Istanbul to/from Kayseri, but the timetable changes in winter and summer.
Climate and Clothing
The temperature in Kayseri by daytime is between 0°C-2°C in December. It is recommended to pack suitable clothing.
Turkish Standard Time is 3 hours ahead of Greenwich Mean Time (GMT+3).
All participants in the congress will require a valid passport and a visa for visiting Turkey. Please contact your nearest Turkish Embassy/Consulate for this purpose. Participants from those countries from where there is no Turkish diplomatic representation can obtain their visa at the airport arrival to Turkey.

The organizers can accept no responsibility for accidents or damage to the private property of participants during the meeting. Participants are recommended to arrange for their personal travel and health insurance.
The local currency is Turkish Lira (TRL). The exchange rate changes daily. Foreign currency can be changed at the airport, banks, hotels and exchange shops
Bank business hours are from Monday to Friday, 09:00-17:00.banks are closed on Saturdays, Sundays and Public holidays. All banks have similar exchange rates.
All major credit cards are accepted in the hotel, restaurants and shops.
Hotels often provide basic postal services. Post offices are open daily except Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays.
General Household electric power is 220 volts.
It is possible to find various kinds of Western, Asian and other international cuisines in Kayseri.
Most shops in Kayseri are open generally from 09:00 to 22:00 Monday to Saturday. Some of the supermarkets , shops, newspaper kiosks, restaurants and food shops are also open on Sunday.
All taxis in the city are yellow colored and with a sign written “taxi” on them. As the historical places and shopping centers are very close to the hotels, it is quite economical to use this transportation. The taxis have a taximeter system which the rate varies during the day and night.
International driving licenses are recognized throughout Turkey. Car rental firms ask for a valid national licenses or an international license.
